Hillview Christian School in Christchurch partnered with NumatREC to create an innovative, inclusive play space that encourages creativity and social interaction among students. The school envisioned an area where children could engage in open-ended play, fostering both physical activity and social development. NumatREC delivered on this vision by providing high-quality surfacing that not only enhances the play experience but also ensures durability and safety.

The surface design features vibrant and engaging elements, including a hopscotch grid, numbered zones, and playful footsteps that guide children through various activities.

These features were meticulously crafted to stimulate imaginative play and physical coordination. Additionally, seating areas were incorporated into the design, offering spaces for relaxation and outdoor education, aligning with the school’s emphasis on holistic learning.

Collaborating closely with other contractors, NumatREC ensured that the design reflected the school’s identity and vision.

The result is a play space that is not only visually appealing but also fully accessible and inclusive, catering to the needs of all children at Hillview Christian School. This project exemplifies NumatREC’s commitment to quality, attention to detail, and creating environments where children can thrive.
